Clean Energy Project, Biodiesel Plant
Industriebouw constructed a Biodiesel Plant for its client Clean Energy B.V. in Zwijndrecht in the province of South Holland. The project, which is also referred to as the ‘Clean Energy Project’, comprises the construction of various concrete foundations, the complete construction of a pipe bridge, a control building and the construction of a cellar foundation. In addition, the project includes a methanol cellar, as well as infrastructural works such as underground pipes and the new roads surrounding the newly constructed plant. In addition to the works above, Strukton Energiebouw has also been contracted to restore the existing bank by installing steel sheet piling.
The increasing demand for clean fuels makes this a valuable contract from a strategic point of view. In the years ahead, we will see increasing construction of similar plants, and references from earlier projects will provide us with a competitive edge.
