We can apply a variety of pushing techniques, depending on the nature of the work. Since 2005, Strukton Infratechnieken B.V. has owned two closed front drilling machines that can be used to drill the most common diameters. The techniques we use are suitable if the pipes or protective tubes can be laid above groundwater level, or when the groundwater level can be sufficiently lowered. We also have techniques that can be used when either operational or environmental considerations prevent the groundwater level from being lowered. Strukton Infratechnieken uses the following techniques: open front drilling with manual excavation, open front drilling with augering, open front drilling with mechanical excavation, closed front drilling with a tunnelling drill and controlled auger drilling.
