The Noord/Zuidlijn in Amsterdam, will connect the northern and southern parts of the city. The metro line will cross the river IJ, this connection is created with an immersed tunnel, the tunnel consists of 3 tunnel elements.

The Noord/Zuidlijn in Amsterdam, will have a metro station underneath the existing central train station of Amsterdam. The train platforms of the metro station will be constructed inside an immersed tunnel element (CS-element).
